Thank you for your balanced and timely post. I am currently in Dharamshala checking DL schedule each day hoping for an audience. It's an incredibly confusing time. Tonight there were a thousand peace marchers on a SOLIDARITY PEACE MARCH with candles and placards walking through the village. " Silence is sometimes the best answer" & " Out of 6 billion people, the trouble makers are a handful". Alas as you mentioned we may never see this man again. A life time devoted to kindness doesn't feel like it should end this way. So sad. Much to reflect and learn from this. Michael

According to a 2014 BBC article, sticking out your tongue can be considered as rude, but in Tibet, it's a way of greeting. It has been a tradition followed by the Tibetan people since the ninth century, when the region was ruled by Lang Drama, who was known for a black tongue, said the outlet.11 Apr 2023
