Zoom. The Embodiment Conference. Spirituality, Mind/Body, Mindfulness, Relationships, Ecology etc. 14 – 25 October 2020. Free Admission.
I received an invitation in May 2020 from The Embodiment Conference to be one of speakers at their international Zoom conference from 14 – 25 October 2020. The Conference offers 50 minutes per speaker.
See foot of this page for my time, date and theme on Monday 19 October.
Organisers says 250,000 plan to attend with opportunity to listen to hundreds of guest speakers.
The Embodiment Conference’s goal is to “make embodied wisdom accessible to a broad global audience, regardless of wealth, location, language and practice background.”
Based in Britain, the organisers have made the conference available in major languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Mandarin Chinese and Russian.
The organisers stated in their vision the conference “is and always will be free. We make our costs back from recordings.
“The participation is free of charge and all content will be freely available for all registered participants for at least 48 hours after the live display of the session.”
After reading the invitation, I signed the formal agreement to be one of the speakers.
The conference brings together ‘top teachers in embodiment’. The teachers are grouped into different categories. A variety of international teachers, retreat leaders, workshop leaders, facilitators, public speakers and authors will offer 50 minute sessions in the fields of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, martial arts, Buddhist traditions, spirituality, dance, mind/body, ecology, relationships, therapy, leadership and more.
More than 140 speakers participated in the 2018 conference with more than 16,000 participants.
The conference also supports specific charities through their affiliate scheme, namely to promote the conference through social media and contacts.
Last week, I received further information about their Affiliate Scheme. “The conference offers a commission of 40% as part of our Embodiment Conference Affiliate Scheme. For every 1 person referred by a speaker that goes on to buy a package, the speaker receives 40% of $399; which is $159.”
It is a credit to the organisers that anyone can sign up and listen to a speaker on Zoom for free.
