Join a Free Online Gathering of Zen Rocks Online for Personal & Global Transformation. 40-Plus Speakers.19 – 22 May. Christopher. Talk with Q&A. Saturday 20 May 2023
A team have been working hard, week after week, to create a major online gathering/festival for all of us who recognise that personal and global transformation go together.
Let us not think that personal change ensures global change. Let us not think that being an activist without deep shifts of consciousness changes the world.
Authentic revolutions embrace inner and outer to awaken our life and the life of others to a new way of being.
Such gatherings as The Thrive with Zen Rocks online give us the opportunity to listen to each other for inspiration, inner change and action.
Spirituality, Activism and Sustainability form the three jewels for radical change in the gathering, which also includes Live Retreats at Zen Rocks in Mani, Greece, May 23-June 18
A Gathering for Growth
The Thrive @ Zen Rocks Online Gathering aims to unite people from around the world to inspire personal growth and collective action for a sustainable future.
Through engaging talks, workshops, and activities, participants can connect with more than 40 leading teachers, philosophers, and activists from more than 20 countries to address the pressing issues facing the Earth.
Together, event will explore the interconnectedness of humanity and the environment, and empower individuals to make meaningful change in their local communities.
Session Title: Dharma Talk & Meditation – The Personal Meets the Global
Speaker: Christopher Titmuss
Talk with Q&A
Date: Saturday 20 MAY 2023
Time: 3:30 pm EET / 2:30 pm CET / 1:30 pm UK / 8:30 am EST / 5:30 am PST
We live in critical times. The evidence is overwhelming. It is important we continue to make personal changes to live a caring way of life. We cannot expect the world to change based on personal changes. Our co-operation with others serves as the bridge to changing local and global events.
The sharing of our concerns, priorities and actions can give insights and inspiration to others. It is people together looking at major issues and generating courses of action that will change the world. Be an agent of change. The session will focus on radical change, practical steps and living without dependency on results.
Living dependent on results, regardless of the issue, reveals a form of self-indulgence.
A former Buddhist monk in Thailand and India, Christopher is a senior Dharma and Mindfulness teacher in the West. He has given more than 700 retreats/courses and led many pilgrimages in the past 50 years. Christopher gives teachings on mindfulness, insight meditation and liberation.
