Not a mystery. Not obvious

I love God

not your God

not my God

nor the One

above and beyond

nor the One

down here and close,

nor up there nor down here

nor OM in the cosmos

not the One who created me

nor One with human personality

nor the One who loves me

nor the angry One

with a chip on the shoulder

nor the one who punishes.

I love God

not the One with history,

nor with a future judgement

nor found in the non-abiding present

nor the One to decide my eternal fate.

I love God

not a personal God

nor an impersonal God

nor my image of the One

nor the One with divinity

nor an energetic force.

…..

I love God

neither great, nor nothing

not Father, nor Son, nor Holy Spirit,

nor existent, nor non-existent

neti, neti, neti

yeti, yeti, yeti.

I love God

One that cannot be lost

so One cannot be found

no matter where I look

deep within myself

nor in the sacred book

nor the splendour of nature.

not the One with a Saviour

nor a Prophet

nor a Master

nor a Guru

nor the words of a saint.

I love God

not beyond

nor imminent,

nor between,

nor everywhere.

I love God

not through conversion

nor confined to the heart

nor to the mind

nor to experience.

I love God

not the One that answers prayers

nor the One that doesn’t

nor the One that is known

nor the One that is unknown

I love God

neither close nor remote

not self and the One

nor devoted to

nor apart from

nor non-dual,

nor a state of oneness.

I love God

not a concept

not a belief

not a dependency

neither available

nor unavailable.

…..

I love God

not a mystery

nor constructed

nor evident

nor revealed with thought

nor beyond thought.

I love God

the One that is poor in spirit

the ‘I’ that is poor in spirit

the ‘I’ that is ‘not ‘I’

not fullness

nor emptiness.
