Freedom of Being. A Primary Focus. SanghaLive. Online. Sunday 22 June. 20.00. CET. Plus meeting in Totnes in early September on response to global issues
You work on yourself. You support others. You may not feel ready for a fresh priority. What you feel is irrelevant.
You might think you are a long way from exploring freedom of being. How far is the ocean from the wave?
I can see from the messages, comments and emails a range of people take a look at a post or posts, which interest them.
A significant number of you engage in inner exploration, via resources such as the Buddhist tradition, Advaita (non-duality), religious faith, mindfulness, psychology, therapy, retreats, pilgrimages to remote parts, spiritual experiences and more. You explore alone or with others or both.
A significant number of you engage in daily life getting on with things you need to do in the secular world. It happens sometimes that one or more of my Substack posts sheds some light on something you take an interest in. You are not inclined towards having an interest in themes mentioned in the above paragraph. Why should you?
Yuo may regard yourself as include of both priorities.
Sunday session may have relevance for the significant numbers who can relate to either of the two categories above or a combination.
I invite all of you to gently put aside your conventional/spiritual life for a different kind of priority beyond the ordinary. That does not mean you turn your back on your priorities. Far from it. The fresh priority I have in mind does not depend on experience of the above two categories, nor on thinking.
The 90 minute session falls into three periods. Guided Meditation, Talk and Q&A.
Do join. SanghaLive offers a free session. With a brief request for donations.
