This is about a 10 minutes walk from the Bodhi Tree, the spot of the Buddha’s enlightenment 2600 years ago.
The monastery provides a beautiful meditation hall, modern kitchen and new sleeping facilities. Average daily temperature in mid-March in Bodh Gaya is around 25 degrees.
Radha first travelled to India in the mid-1970s. She has made numerous return trips to India including teaching in the last decade or two. In the past 20 years, her travels as a Dharma teacher include Australia, Europe, India, Israel, Thailand and more. We have been friends for nearly 50 years and co-teaching on a number of retreats.
The Thai monastery kindly offers the retreat as a dana (donation/gift) covering food and accommodation for all Indians and internationals. Suchitra Shenoy India will assist. Bryan Tucker, our senior assistant teacher for the online 12 month MTTC (Mindfulness Teacher Training Course), will also participate in the course.
The course is suitable for those completely new to meditation and experienced meditators.
Please contact Tim Dawson, who has kindly managed the retreats for Radha, for several years. Simply register your name assuming you sincerely plan to attend. Your support is appreciated with this so that the manager and monastery can prepare in terms of sleeping arrangements and food orders.
The Bodh Gaya retreats have a special place in the heart’s of many meditators. A single life changing flight to India can benefit people, creatures and the natural world for decades to come. There are daily flights and trains from elsewhere in India to nearby Gaya.
Radha reminds us that realization expresses as love in specific and limitless ways.
Pass the word on.
Thank you.
