I have received in the past two years messages of concern about the perceived lack of response from Buddhist organisations and Buddhist teachers around the world about the genocide and famine in Gaza.

Santacitta Bhikkhuni, co-founder of Aloka Vihara U.S., on hearing the Zine being attributed to Aloka, would like that misinformation corrected.
Aloka Vihara had nothing to do with conceiving, initiating, producing, collating, or publishing the "Gaza: Calling for a Dharma Response" Zine.
All of those stages were undertaken entirely by Sacred Mountain Sangha - https://sacredmountainsangha.org/ - in collaboration with members of the Sacred Justice Coalition. Please could you attribute correctly, thank you.
Just to let you know, as flagged up by Ayya Santacitta, "Aloka Vihara no longer exists. It is now two non profits: Aloka Earth Room and Parayana Vihara."

THe reluctance of even Tovana to say, let alone “do” anything against the government of Israel underlines this.
